Give Peace A Chance is a song originally by John Lennon. It is sung by Aurora, Beth, Kitty and Walker in the second episode of the first season of Glee: Paint the Sky. It is the first group performance of the series by the members of the glee club.

The four members had asked Bella and Elliot to perform a song in the auditorium in preparation for their Invitationals, which they happily agreed to. The two sit in the audience as Mary Lou is behind them, eating popcorn loudly. The song reflected on what had happened to the characters in the episode and flashes to scenes of each character.

Aurora recalls an event earlier in the day, where a boy had told her he doesn't believe the rumours (of Aurora and Beth being lovers rather than sisters) and she threw a punch at him, terrifying the boy and showing a different side of herself. Glares from Aurora make Walker recall his depression after breaking up with Beth to try and help her. Beth is still heartbroken from the break-up, recalling the heartfelt letter he had written her after their split, wondering how he could be so hurtful to break-up with her. Devonne is hesistant to attend her dance class, though is eventually drawn to the stage, beginning to spy on Kitty, who refused to acknowledge her after their argument while Spencer's sinister smile 'flared'.

As the performance ended, Mary Lou cheers enthusiastically, waving at Kitty and the two directors compliment the performance. The excitement is cut short however, when Walker announces he is quitting the club, leaving the club horrified and Mary Lou choking on her popcorn as the episode ends.
